CONGRATULATIONS!! Your new little one will change SO FAST! Let’s get some photos of this special time to remember how tiny he or she is. Newborn photos are typically scheduled within two weeks of birth. Beyond this scheduling detail, I’ve found everything else regarding newborn shoots are totally up in the air. And that is OKAY!! Because newborn babies are so new to this world and not on a schedule yet, the photo shoot revolves around making the little one happy. That means we’re not on a time line and we’ll hang out at a location that is most comfortable for you. Usually that’s in your own home, which brings even more meaning to the photos, since catching the everyday parts of your world are important.

If you have other family members, they are very welcome to be present! I love the photos that include everyone, especially the ones that are authentic and catch life happening. Many times, that’s mess and all, crying or laughing, and especially relating with each other.
