Adventure photography. That’s my ‘new’ gig. I’m super excited to provide this type of work for more people. So, what do I do now when we have spare time? Practice!! What that means is I drag anyone and everyone who is available with me while we explore, whether it be near or far. This time is was just K and our dog, Zoe, who could make the trip. In fact, it’s somewhere I’ve been a bunch of times before, but have never taken the time to actually explore the whole place. It was well worth the extra little effort!
Beazell Memorial Forest is so close, but an amazing piece of forest heaven that feels like you’re in really removed once you make your way down the trail. By the way, it’s an excellent venue for events too.
Zoe was eager to explore. I’m pretty sure she covered triple the ground that we did.
It was during the week, so we were the only people there. Off the leash she goes!
We decided to go to the top of the ridge first. It was steep.
Zoe says, “Let’s go to the left.”
Since the other kids weren’t along, K found the camera pointed towards her all the time.
These photos below are a little more accurate as to how fast Zoe and K actually move along the trail some of the time.
This is Zoe noticing that I’m not following very close. It’s my trick to make sure she doesn’t run off to far….I hide. Then she has to come back and find me.
It was peaceful until K started this.
Back to civilization and her leash.
