I’ve been reading Anne of Green Gables aloud to my youngest kids. It’s been a long time since reading that book and because I like to read super fast, slowing down to read aloud has made me appreciate it so much. Anne’s spirit of honesty, imagination and wonder are just a few of the things that I really enjoy. Meeting Tabitha was like meeting Anne of Green Gables. She is a true kindred spirit, with a creative soul that enriched my small slice of time spent with her. Granted, it was only a couple hours we had that afternoon. But just like only reading a couple chapters of Anne of Green Gables before falling in love with that character, it is the same with Tabitha. Thanks for the opportunity to meet you and your mom!
