Jo is my daughter. She found the most amazing man young man. Or maybe it can be said that Myles chose a gal who is a treasure. Either way you look at it, I am so very happy seeing them together and on a journey where I am lucky enough to tag along in their lives. More words can be said, but it would muddy the waters…the main thing I want to say is that I’m overjoyed because of these two.
We set off in search of something familiar for a location to take photos and landed near the top of Mary’s Peak. Not only did we hang out in a spot they enjoy, Jo and Myles took the opportunity to shoot skeet for a few minutes.
This happened to be the first day of sun after a month long soaking of rain. It felt a little surreal to be surrounded by sun produced steam on the crisp morning high up in the hills.
Goof offs.
More sun. More steam. More smiles.
I was in the back seat after driving from the first spot back toward Corvallis when this epic Pacific Northwest background presented itself. We stopped. Thanks Myles, for driving, and letting me enjoy the view.
STOP again!
This photo below reminds me of Jo as a toddler. Her eyes are brilliant and shiny. On occasion, when she bonked her head, wanted something she couldn’t have, or shared her heartbreak, those blue eyes glowed with tears. I remember my friend mentioning that some day her future husband would see those same tear filled eyes and cherish her even more than I. It’s hard to believe that time flew by and now were are here in that moment.
We ended the day with a stroll out to soak in a pretty view from Fitton Green.
I am beyond excited to watch and participate in the endless fun and entertainment Jo and Myles provide. This is just the beginning!
