One of my all time favorite photo shoots each year is with the family that my own kids have grown up with. On this particular day, both our families walked around the park together, sharing opportunities to grab a few family photos. I’d like to share a few group shots of all our kids together, but that’s another day. Starting off today’s post will be the very last photo taken of the Pittman family. It could appear that Shannon is straining under the load of all the girls, but really it’s that she essentially did a wall sit that may have seemed like forever for her as we set this photo up. I know that she and Jason are asked by others, “How do you manage with some many girls in your house?” All they have to do is whip out this photo, with a wink, and show them how it’s done.
All kidding aside, anyone who knows this family knows that the kids are the exact opposite of a burden to Jason and Shannon, and that Jason does share the load in the family. 🙂
Jason, through his work, facilitates team building activities. The trust fall looks simple and easy, and seems like a fun idea up until the point you’re slowly tipping back and falling.
Jason supporting the load, for reals, no ‘photoshopping’.
Tug of war, whether it’s real or a symbol for family life, isn’t done without a little drama in this household.
Again, the next photo set is a little symbolic for how parents can sometimes feel. It’s serious until each of the family members can’t help but laugh at Jason.
