Before we had kids, our dog, Maggie, entertained us. We shared our life with her. Since having kids, we’ve spent our life caring and living life with them to an even greater degree. Now our kids share their life and toys with Zoe. All this sharing and caring makes me realize how we are built to feel the fullness of joy and life through others. Our life would be so empty without people or even animals.
Photos like this speak for themselves about how cool it is to take photos during the last hour of daylight, known as the “Golden Hour”. Incidentally, who can resist a pun? You’ll see that these are obviously doubly golden!
Zoe loves her stuffed animals. She never rips them apart because they are her friends.
She also thinks the trampoline is her toy.
We are not above teasing her a little.
Zoe will share the trampoline with the kids, not that she has a choice in the matter.
She is always a winner, catching her friends whenever they try to escape.
See? Always the winner.
“Really, Dad? You want me to jump?”
This next shot was my all time favorite. I was honored to have it included in a favorites compilation post of one of my favorite photography blogs, Let the Kids.
