Wyndser’s mom described her as whimsical. This is two posts within a week that I’m going to use the same-ish word that describes the subject of the post: whimsical. I had a gut feeling of what that meant, when blogging about Abi earlier this week, but I had to break out the dictionary to really grasp it today. What is funny is that my guess told me I was right, not because I knew the word and what it means, but because it really is who and what Wyndser is. Because my words always seem to run away when I sit down to write, I’m going to use the dictionary’s description: Wyndser is playfully quaint or fanciful, especially in an appealing and amusing way. One of her favorite places to be is in the forest, which is where we spent most of our time.
I noticed that whimsical can also hold hints of willingness for change and may be unpredictable, so it makes sense because even though she is noticabely thrilled with the woods, she easily took to the idea of taking some photos in her back yard. That changeability may be a part of her personality, but it’s also grounded in her pleasant nature.
