We went to the Gilbert House in Salem. This is because all work without play makes me a tired person. So we took a field trip! New and different sights made us all happy that day. I think the prime age for the place is second grade, plus or minus a couple grades. But because of their large play structure outdoors, it is fun for all ages. We started inside and all ended up at the grocery store. The way they filled their baskets reminded me of some game show where they give you limited time to fill your cart and get it all for free.
What an awesome playground and structure! I wish I would have gotten a good wide angle photo showing the whole outdoor area. This is something like a three story high play structure. It is an awesome spot for tag! Back inside, when the rains came, we found the bubble room to be a flight room.
Our visit wasn’t as organized as these photos. We were really all over the place, all at the same time.
My favorite room to watch some of my kids play was the veterinary office. Everything that they needed to be an animal doctor was there.
