Envision crashing waves, warm sand, multiple whale sightings. The day we escaped to the coast to celebrate our daughter’s birthday was magical. Unseasonably warm weather gave us free reign to explore dunes and rock formations, as well as just catch up with friends. Highlighting the day was an engagement ring, but you’ll need to scroll through the photos to get those details. Most importantly, this special day doesn’t just live in our memories…it’s documented in photos that we can enjoy for years to come.
If you’d like to fully experience your special event and also pour over beautiful pictures for years afterward…..let me help!! Whether it be local or at a distance, long or short, almost any type of scheduled event or favorite activity of your choice is worth catching pictures of. Use our beach day adventure as an example and check my adventure page for many more details of what an adventure session for you could be like. Following are a few of the hundreds of candid pictures that captured our unforgettable experience.
Otter Crest was the first stop.
First whale sighting.
“Hey mom, isn’t this a cool background?”
Picture time!
Boiler Bay had many more whale sightings.
What makes an unforgettable treat for our kids? Pop. They were allotted two or three for the day each. Whoa.
See the fluke?
Cape Kiwanda was the final destination. We ferried all the stuff we needed and then mostly made it back to the pavement. It’s amazing what a big group of people can push out of the sand when stuck.
Up and over the big dune is a beautiful view to the north.
Just out for a walk….
when someone pops out of the bushes to propose.
He did it….COMPLETELY surprised her. Well done, Cade!
Just a little celebrating with the families. Lotsa good feelings running around here.
And more playtime. The kids make it look easy to climb that hill.
See…..proof it’s nice. This is Oregon people!! What a beautiful day it was!
Friends since birth and only two weeks apart in age.
I went a little crazy in this sunspot. The last little rays of light on the hill were where they played.
Drone shot from above.
I wasn’t the only one snapping away at photos.
