Wow. What a day. I often struggle for words to describe who and what is going on in the photos. But Mara and Jake are the sort of people who beg to be talked about, because the people who know and love them have so many good things to say. Their wedding day was a celebration of who they are and how they touch people around them. I think everyone was so excited to have the opportunity to show how much Jake and Mara are loved.
It also helped that it was a gorgeous Oregon day in the woods at the Thyme Garden, touched by sunlight, greenery, and flowers on every side.
The gold deer was one of my favorite details. How can you beat that?
Mara and Jake’s family and friends were so excited to serve her and Jake on this special day. What a big hint on how Mara and Jake must live their lives, giving of themselves and sharing with those around them.
Ha, what a trooper. Mara’s nephew and niece did an amazing job in their duties the whole day.

Yeah, it’s a very good start to a very good day. The ceremony showed and shared how dedicated Mara and Jake are to each other and is a super important part. Afterwards, it’s time to begin celebrating! But first, let’s stop to smell the flowers, right?
Each wedding is filled with the personality of those becoming married. What was fun to see about Mara and Jake was that it seemed to be full in each realm. It wasn’t overwhelmed by anything, but it was also so full in every aspect! From ceremony to couple photos to dinner, toasts, and dancing, each part of the day was overflowing!
Super planning Mara! It’s hard work to be a princess for a day and choosing footwear to last the day seemed to be a pretty good key to keeping the little ones happy! Again, this probably wasn’t a highlight of the day for most, but this detail shows the thoughtfulness that flows naturally from Mara and Jake.
Time to sit down for awhile, since it’s toasting and open mike for those to share their encouragement, support, and thankfulness for an awesome couple!
