Welcome to our latest adventure! I thought after hyping up my excitement over offering a new session of adventure photographer package, one of the best ways to show why I’m so excited is to use our own experiences as an example. Or maybe, I was inspired by my last engagement session and couldn’t wait to get back to Silver Falls and explore more! Either way, we travelled to Silver Falls with some friends for the day and had an amazing time. The kids were troopers, easily navigating the seven mile loop in three hours. We didn’t have a super fast pace, which left me enough time to grab plenty of photos (many more than I’m showing here!) as we walked and stopped at all the interesting spots.
It wasn’t a really hot day, but they were still tempted at times to get in.
Whoa. Not all photos had to have people in it. What a cool place!!
Ha, one of the ways I could get in front of the kids to make sure I had some pictures from the front is to let them go down the ‘wrong way’ a little, before calling them back.
Snack and water breaks were ‘friends’ to us all, giving them a chance to refuel and me a chance to catch up again!
I wonder what it was like to be one of the first people to stumble across this place. The whole canyon was stunning!
My mouth started watering again when I saw this photo. I would do this all the time, when I was a kid.
Ha, someone was running too fast and splashed up mud onto Lacey.
Success!
The lighting was changing most of the day. K found a little shaft of sunlight deep in this canyon.
They were watching a stick they threw into the water, hoping they could see it go over the falls.
She finally caught one of the elusive butterflies.
All done!! What an awesome day! I highly recommend doing the full loop trail, as all the falls were worth the walk. To make it even more memorable, take me along to get all the photos of you and your favorite people enjoying the hike!
